We’re taking requests from the crowd! What songs or artists should we cover in Shmoop Music?

You have to do Floyd! They rule!

They are #1 in my book for a reason: their haunting, poetic lyrics; their epic guitar solos and complex chords and harmonies; their atmospheric sound effects; their complex themes which go so far beyond most rock lyrics; their impeccable timing; their brilliant concept albums.

You could do entire analysis of Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall! (And maybe even Wish You Were Here and Animals!) Or, at least, the major songs! They would be so much fun to analyze! I did a literary analysis of their lyrics once. I would read your analysis for fun!

Please do some Pink Floyd songs (or albums)! :)
