Shmoop Mobile
It would be great to have Shmoop at one's finger tips, either an iPhone app or a mobile version. Maybe the mobile app could have cram questions that one can use as a last minute prep for an exam.

sign articles -- who is responsible for the information?
Who writes/reviews the articles on your site? Who takes responsibility for the information? Are the articles dated?
After a very quick perusal I couldn't figure out if the responsibility or date was provided, but maybe I just missed it.65 votesstarted ·

We’ve added info about our writing team here. Our writers are mostly Ph.D. students from top universities, like Stanford, Harvard, and UC Berkeley.

As of April 2010 (National Poetry Month!), we have 95 Learning Guides in Shmoop Poetry, making Shmoop one of the largest poetry analysis sites on the Web. Please send more suggestions in our “What Should We add to Shmoop Poetry Forum.”

not use advertising like dating services for this website.
I would love to use this service for my students but I can't use it with those types of ads.

create a section where outside research can be saved for use
While Shmoop has many very excellent paper paper topics, research papers require keeping lots of information open either on your desk or on the internet, and it would be much easier if this information could be, perhaps, consolidated and saved on the site.

allow for paper-organizers on books not yet available
I love how Shmoop organizes your paper by taking you through piece by piece, but it would be truly excellent if this process could be started without a particular book as a "seed," so if I'm writing about an unorthodox piece of literature I don't have to wait until it's covered on the site.

make the "blank sheet of paper" essay-writing tool better
First of all, they need to have a way for people to be able to click on the paragraph they want to write and be able to type stuff, instead of requiring you to click next a million times in order to get to the right paragraph. Also, my writing keeps getting deleted, which is really annoying. Change that somehow... make a "Save" button instead of having people rely on automatic saving.
